According to Statistics Sierra Leone, Persons under 35 years of age make up about 80 per cent of the entire population of Sierra Leone.
Sierra Leone believes in youth leadership and is signatory to the Youth2030 agenda, first ever UN Youth Strategy designed to engage, support, and empower young people to help deliver the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
